I figured that Corbin, who just turned a year old in October, would like to eat off of my favorite plate that I used as a child.
But who would really want to eat off of this plate when it makes such a good “silly hat”.
Here are some random pictures and if we understood baby gibberish I think this is what we would have heard….
Corbin: “Hey, Mom, is this my birthday party?”
Nena: “No, sweetie, it is Uncle Derrick’s birthday.”
Corbin: “What?!?! Are you sure?!?!”
Corbin: “This is a horrible idea. I don’t think I want to play this game!”
Corbin: “This is a horrible idea. I don’t think I want to play this game!”
Entirely too much fun and it had to be used to light the cake candles. I think there may have even been some sound effects when she fired at each of the candles.
Derrick and Corbin waiting for the candles to be lit. Each of them is ready for this to be finished. One of them just wants to eat cake and the other is realizing that if it takes this long to light candles it isn’t a good thing. Hmmm…wonder who is who? Completely different thoughts, same disturbed expression.
Corbin looks so cute with his hat on -- hahahaha! Everytime I see that dish, I always think of chicken noodle soup, saltines, and Coke that tastes watered down from melted ice cubes in those Tupperware sippies. HAHA! And laying on the couch watching Bedknobs and Broomsticks.
ReplyDeleteNena looks a little too comfortable and skillful with that shotgun... ;o)
