Little Lamb, I Love You
I had a shower today. And I blow dried and straightened my hair. Finally, I slapped some make-up on my face. All while Neely Jo was awake. And she wasn’t crying. This is a milestone for us! She has only spent MAYBE 15 minutes MAX in her swing, bouncy, crib, or whatever without crying. I don’t think I have ever been happier! I have been calling family members all day and bragging about taking a shower (I normally do take showers but they usually involve me jumping out half covered in soap with conditioner in my hair because Neely is having a tee total come apart). Thank you little lamb hanging on the bouncy seat. You are magical.

Do you think this means she's starting to grow out of her colic? Should I have even dared to have thought those words?! I am so glad you were able to shower in a little peace! :)

I tell you what is magical is her precious hair. I just don't even know what I would do if I had a little girl with all of that hair. Cute, cute, cute!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I showered until Boss was 9 months old so I can totally relate to how awesome that was to get all the way fixed up without a meltdown.
